Updated animal record management experience

iLivestock is introducing a refreshed animal record management experience within the app, with updates focused on the Animal Summary and Animal Details areas used daily by sheep and cattle farmers.

The rollout brings a cleaner layout and more streamlined workflows, making it easier to access, edit, and manage livestock records in the field. While retaining the familiar functionality users already rely on, the update introduces a more structured and intuitive experience across both species.

New data fields have been added to sheep records, including origin, purchase and sale information, and price-related details, helping farmers capture more complete livestock information. Other enhancements include improved tag replacement tools, updated batch editing, and better group visibility directly from individual animal records.

The update also restructures and removes older fields where needed to support more accurate, future-ready data management across the platform.

Driven by customer feedback, the refreshed experience forms part of iLivestock’s continued focus on improving usability and supporting better livestock record keeping on farm.

The updated animal recording experience will begin rolling out from mid-May 2026.
