iLivestock shortlisted for Made in Scotland Award 2026

Fife-based agri-tech business iLivestock has secured a place on the shortlist for Manufacturer of the Year (under £10m) at the Insider Made in Scotland Awards 2026.

The annual awards showcase manufacturing achievement across Scotland, with a focus on businesses delivering innovation, sustainable growth and economic impact. The 2026 programme is headlined by the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland.

This year’s shortlist was chosen by an expert panel following a record number of entries. In organisations representing a wide cross-section of Scottish industry, iLivestock joins Cnuic Technologies, IOLLA, Lochcarron of Scotland, Motivity Solutions Ltd and Stewart Technology Ltd in the under £10m category.

iLivestock develops connected technology for sheep and cattle farmers. Its platform brings together animal-focused software, electronic identification and livestock weighing equipment, helping farmers capture information and use it to support traceability, compliance and performance management.

The company’s flagship eWeigh product is a patent-protected communications hub that connects compatible weighing and EID equipment directly to the iLivestock mobile app. Designed to make precision livestock technology more practical and accessible, the system replaces fragmented equipment and records with a connected workflow.

iLivestock expanded its Scottish operations in 2025 by relocating to an 8,200 sq ft manufacturing centre in Dunfermline. Research and development, engineering, manufacturing, quality control, logistics and dispatch are now brought together at the Fife site, providing a foundation for increased production and continued export growth.

The Made in Scotland Awards 2026 will be held at voco Grand Central Glasgow on 8 October 2026.
