iLivestock, the UK’s leading livestock management platform, and Ariat Europe, known for durable and comfortable workwear and footwear, have joined forces to give British farmers the tools and kit they can rely on, day in and day out.
Both brands share a commitment to supporting farmers with practical, innovative, performance-driven products that make things on the farm easier. iLivestock helps farmers manage key tasks—from weight recording and breeding to compliance and on-farm decision-making—more efficiently. Ariat is trusted for hard-wearing boots and workwear built to withstand long days outdoors and the unpredictable British weather.
“British farmers deserve products that can keep up with the demands of their work and won’t let them down,” said Yoni van Breukelen, Head of Marketing & Communications at iLivestock. “Partnering with Ariat, a name already well known on farms across the world, is a natural fit. We share a focus on work-ready, practical products, farmers can rely on every single day.”
As part of the partnership, the iLivestock team is now kitted out in Ariat Workwear as they travel around the globe, visiting farms, attending shows, and connecting with producers at markets. Ariat’s Work range, designed for tough outdoor environments, supports the team as they demonstrate iLivestock tools and speak directly with farmers.
“At Ariat, we’re committed to supporting the people who keep British agriculture moving by providing hardworking and durable workwear,” said Melanie Selman, European Marketing Manager at Ariat Europe. “Partnering with iLivestock allows us to stand alongside a company that shares our focus on practicality, innovation, and reliability. The agricultural community trust Ariat to deliver workwear that performs in all conditions, and together with iLivestock’s smart on-farm tools, we’re proud to champion solutions that make life easier for producers across the UK.”
Throughout 2026, the collaboration will be visible across online campaigns, co-branded events, farming shows, and on-farm demonstrations—all focused on championing reliable tools and workwear that meet the real, day-to-day needs of British farmers.

2025 has been a defining year for iLivestock. Not because of one headline moment, but because of sustained progress across product development, industry engagement and real-world adoption. Over the past 12 months, iLivestock has continued to evolve from a fast-growing agri-tech platform into a trusted part of everyday livestock management for farmers, markets and industry partners.
Our end-of-year video captures the numbers. This article tells the story behind them.
Throughout 2025, our focus remained clear: build technology that reflects how livestock businesses actually operate.
This year saw nine major platform updates, including improved medicine management, advanced weighing, enhanced breeding functionality and greater reporting capability. We also delivered key industry and government integrations, including ScotEID and BCMS-CTS, alongside CSV animal uploads, Spanish-language support and a redesigned new-user journey.
Each update was shaped by user feedback and practical on-farm requirements — helping reduce admin, improve accuracy and support confident decision-making.
Technology only works when it’s understood and trusted. In 2025, the iLivestock team spent more time than ever on the ground, attending 42 livestock markets, shows and farm events across the UK.
From major agricultural shows such as the Royal Highland Show, Royal Welsh Show and Royal Cornwall Show, to specialist breed society events, NSA sheep events and weekly livestock markets, our presence reflected the breadth of the industry we serve.
This face-to-face engagement remains central to how we develop, support and improve the platform.
One of the strongest signals of progress in 2025 has been adoption at scale.
During the year, hundreds of thousands of animals were added to iLivestock by farmers, marts and livestock businesses using the platform as part of their day-to-day operations.
As usage grew, so did our investment in support and education. In 2025 alone, we published 50 support videos and 157 support articles, ensuring users can get the most from the platform with confidence.
Behind the software is a growing team committed to supporting users and partners for the long term. In 2025, iLivestock welcomed four new team members, strengthening our capacity across development, support and delivery.
As the business has grown, we’ve also taken time to celebrate milestones together — recognising that sustainable growth is built by people as much as technology.
2025 also brought significant external recognition for iLivestock’s work and direction. During the year, we were proud to receive:
These awards reflect not just innovation, but measurable impact across agriculture and livestock supply chains.
While remaining firmly rooted in UK livestock farming, 2025 also saw iLivestock take important steps internationally.
The team visited 13 countries across Europe, Africa and the Americas, supporting export growth, partnerships and market understanding. A new international office was opened during the year, alongside the launch of Spanish-language platform support.
These steps mark the foundations of long-term international growth, built carefully and responsibly.
Everything achieved in 2025 has been driven by the farmers, markets, partners and stakeholders who use, challenge and shape iLivestock every day. Thank you for being part of the journey so far. Here’s to 2026!
If you’d like to learn more about iLivestock, explore a partnership or start a conversation, we’d be glad to hear from you.
At iLivestock, we’re growing quickly, but we’re intentional about staying connected. That’s why we invest in a yearly Christmas get-together — a chance to step away from screens, slow things down, spend time together, and act silly, just because! And this year, we leaned into something that reflects where we’re heading as a business: going international.
On 12 December, colleagues travelled to Glasgow to do just that. With teams spread across countries and often working across time zones, days like this don’t happen by accident. They’re deliberate, and increasingly important as the company continues to scale.
The day began at Jungle Rumble, where mini-golf, darts, pizzas, and drinks broke the ice almost instantly. It was relaxed, noisy, and full of laughter. Teams were mixed up, titles quickly disappeared, and friendly competition (and questionable golf skills) took over.
Later in the afternoon, the group moved to Malo for a wine flight and company update. This part of the day reflected iLivestock’s expanding international footprint, with wines from countries we’re already working with — and others we’ll be rolling out to next. From South Africa to Romania, the flavours sparked conversation, curiosity, and more than a few surprised reactions. The update offered time to pause, look back on the year, and reflect on what the team has achieved together. It was an impressive list. As the afternoon went on, silly hats and costumes made an appearance — a reminder that while iLivestock takes its work seriously, it doesn’t take itself too seriously.
The evening wrapped up at Gaucho, gathered around a long table over good food and easy conversation. Steak lovers were well catered for, and our vegetarians didn’t miss out either. The silliness continued, achievements were quietly celebrated, and plans for “round two” were made well beyond the official end time.
As iLivestock grows, days like this show the kind of company we want to be. One that puts people first, values connection, and keeps up momentum for what builds for the long term.

Supporting farmers is central to everything we do at iLivestock. This year, we strengthened our commitment to customer support by expanding the tools available to help users get the most from the platform. A dedicated video support library has been created to guide farmers through every part of the software.
Whether you’re getting started during onboarding or exploring iLivestock before signing up, the library provides clear, step-by-step guidance to help you use the software effectively. The library now includes 50 support videos, with 25 available in English and 25 in Spanish. This sits alongside the iLivestock Help Centre, which contains over 100 articles, including a growing number available in Spanish, covering all core features of the platform.
Support doesn’t stop with self-service resources. Farmers can contact our team directly through the in-app messenger or speak to a dedicated UK-based support team by phone. This combination of practical guides and real human support ensures help is always available when it’s needed.
Watch our tutorials and visit the “Learn to use iLivestock” YouTube playlist
To make learning even more accessible, our support tutorials are also available on YouTube. The “Learn to use iLivestock” playlist includes step-by-step videos covering everything from setting up your account and using key software features to getting the most from hardware tools such as eWeigh and readers. These videos are designed to make managing sheep and cattle simpler and easier to understand.
By building support around how farmers actually work, iLivestock offers one of the most complete and accessible support setups in the agricultural software industry — helping users spend less time figuring out software and more time focusing on their farm.

Adding large numbers of animals to iLivestock is now quicker and easier with the new CSV upload tool, available directly from the iLivestock dashboard.
The CSV upload tool allows farmers to import sheep, cattle, and groups in bulk, removing the need to add animals one by one. This is especially useful for larger farms or anyone getting started with iLivestock who already has livestock records stored elsewhere.
By uploading a simple CSV file, farmers can bring large volumes of livestock into iLivestock in just a few steps. Once uploaded, the data syncs with the mobile app, allowing livestock to be managed on both desktop and mobile.
The CSV upload tool supports:
There are no limits on the number of animals or species you can upload. Farmers can also mass update animals, saving time when managing large herds or flocks.
Uploading livestock follows a clear four-step process:
An identifier is required for each animal, while all other details are optional. This gives farmers flexibility to upload as much or as little information as they have available, including breed, date of birth, weights, parentage, and notes.
The CSV upload tool has been designed to simplify onboarding and help farmers get up and running faster. It’s also useful for ongoing management, allowing records to be updated in bulk rather than individually.
This feature forms part of a wider set of improvements to the iLivestock dashboard, making it easier to manage livestock records alongside the mobile app. Together, they give farmers more control over their data and reduce time spent on admin.
Whether you’d like to learn more about the CSV-import tool or need a hand with iLivestock, we’d love to help. Give us a call at +44 1383 324 358, or email us at [email protected].
We’ve made it easier for farmers to get started with iLivestock by introducing a free 14-day trial of the full livestock management platform.
The trial gives farmers time to explore the software properly and see how it fits into day-to-day farm management. By using iLivestock during the trial period, users can record livestock data, explore key features, and understand how the software can support their business.
Alongside the new trial, we’ve also updated the onboarding experience. New users now have access to a dedicated video library showing how to use each part of the app, as well as clear step-by-step guides available through the iLivestock Help Centre. This helps farmers get up and running quickly, even if they’re new to digital livestock management.
The 14-day trial is designed to give farmers the time and space to decide whether iLivestock is right for their business, supported by practical tools and clear guidance from day one.
Whether you’d like to learn more about our free trial or need a hand with iLivestock, we’d love to help. Give us a call at +44 1383 324 358, or email us at [email protected].
Supporting farmers with their day-to-day livestock management is at the heart of what we do at iLivestock. As part of our ongoing work to make the platform more accessible, we’ve introduced Spanish language support, making it easier for farmers in Spain and Latin America to manage their livestock using our software.
This update helps remove language barriers and gives more farmers access to clear, reliable tools for record keeping, performance tracking, and animal health management. By making the platform more accessible, iLivestock supports better decision-making, healthier animals, and more efficient day-to-day farm management.
Spanish language support also extends beyond the app itself. Our Help Centre articles and support videos are now available in both English and Spanish, giving farmers the guidance they need in the language that suits them best.
iLivestock prides itself on its support. We offer one of the most comprehensive support setups in the UK. To help users get started and make the most of the software—whether onboarding or exploring iLivestock before purchase—we’ve built a dedicated video library. It currently features 50 support videos, split evenly between English and Spanish, alongside our online Help Centre, which contains over 100 articles, with an increasing number available in Spanish.
Farmers can also contact our team directly through the in-app messenger or speak to our UK-based support team by phone, ensuring help is always close at hand.
Spanish language support also aligns with our long-term aim to help farmers improve productivity while reducing their carbon footprint through smarter use of technology and data. It’s another step towards supporting sustainable farming and strong animal welfare worldwide.
Alongside the main platform, iLivestock eWeigh has also been translated into Spanish, allowing farmers to record and monitor animal weights — a key indicator of livestock health and performance — using our free weighing app.
Whether you’d like to learn more about the Spanish language support or need a hand with iLivestock, we’d love to help. Give us a call at +44 1383 324 358, or email us at [email protected].
The updated Medicine section helps you keep track of your farm’s medicine stock and record treatments quickly and confidently. When a medicine is given to an animal, iLivestock automatically displays the correct withdrawal period for that product, helping you stay compliant and reduce the risk of mistakes.
Each treatment is logged against the individual animal, building a clear and reliable medical history over time. This makes it easier to monitor animal health, meet assurance requirements, and keep accurate records without extra paperwork.
This update was driven by feedback from farmers and reflects our ongoing commitment to making iLivestock simpler and more useful for those managing busy farms. By improving how medicines are recorded and managed, we’re helping support healthier animals, better record keeping, and greater peace of mind.
Whether you’d like to learn more about the new Medicine section or need a hand with iLivestock, we’d love to help. Give us a call at +44 1383 324 358, or email us at [email protected].
In 2014, farming in North Herefordshire across Croft Castle and Berrington Hall National Trust estates, William Cawley joined his father’s business covering nearly 1000 acres supporting dairy, sheep and crops. Already running 600 Suffolk cross North Country Mules for many years, in 2018 their landlord’s decision to reclaim the lambing sheds, set the wheels in motion to fundamentally change their approach.
William and his father were facing a big challenge when the National Trust decided to take back into their stewardship Cawley Farm’s lambing sheds. William takes up the story. “We’d always lambed indoors, but in 2018 the National Trust wanted to take the lambing sheds back in hand, as they were thought to be of historical importance.
"They were built in one of the few surviving walled gardens designed by Capability Brown in the UK and the National Trust were looking to recreate it. With this change in mind, we had to consider what we could do to adapt without a big investment into new infrastructure. We saw this as an opportunity to really analyse what we were doing with the sheep. It's easy to keep doing what you’ve always done, but the easy option isn’t necessarily the best option.”
“It's easy to keep doing what you’ve always done, but the easy option isn’t necessarily the best option.”
For William, flock genetics are key and swapping to a breed that lambs outdoors was the logical, most cost-effective step, as he explains, “We were already running the dairy herd very efficiently on a low-cost low-input system, so naturally we wanted to reflect this with the sheep too.
“We demand a lot from our sheep, we’re not able to grow the highest quality grass, largely down to the restrictions on the land in the tenancy agreement.
“We also can’t carry out any intensive grazing, not that the land would suit it anyway, as we’re mostly working with long-term pastures and permanent leys with multiple footpaths crossing them.
“This adds to the pressure of rearing high-efficiency animals, but in relative terms, efficiency will look different depending on the farm and individual circumstances. “Our flock is also under a lot of worm pressure too due to the old, low-nutrient pastures.”
To fulfil the brief, William decided to transition to the low-maintenance, hardy breeds of EasyCare and Exlana ewes, and today he has around 1,200 ewes lambing in spring.
To ensure the best performance from the flock, capturing, monitoring and measuring data is key and William began by capturing data for the Signet Breeding Services database to identify estimated breeding values (EBVs). William again, “This allows me to look at selecting the best ewes within the flock to breed from and for customers buying rams to select for the traits they’re interested in too.”
William then decided on iLivestock, to simplify and speed up the business of data capture and recording.
“Since using iLivestock, we’ve ultimately been able to improve our ability to rear better breeding stock, as it allows us to pinpoint issues early and act on them quickly.”
Adding, "Before we started using the software to record data, we were doing a lot of manual recording, and it was hard to keep track of individual ewes and their performance.
“Now everything's right there at our fingertips. Each sheep’s data, including breeding history, health records, and lambing performance, is easily accessible on our phones.
“The software tracks traits like fertility, how easily they lamb, and how well they raise their lambs. I can see which ewes are producing the best offspring and focus on breeding from them.”
William continues, “It’s really helped manage our breeding programme, as we can use the data to produce animals focused on a shedding maternal sheep that’s highly efficient on a low input, low system.
“But it's not all about numbers; it’s about making informed decisions that lead to better performance year after year. With the tools we have now, we’re set up for long-term success, and it’s exciting to see how the flock continues to improve.”
iLivestock’s vision is better, more sustainable and profitable farming. To do this they’re making data work harder for sheep and cattle farmers through cost-effective, robust and simple-to-use data management tools.
iLivestock CEO Ewen Wardman explains: “We’ve seen massive technological advances being made across farming sectors in the UK over the last decade, particularly for arable systems, but it’s time to make it more accessible for livestock and mixed enterprises.”
Partnering with Rappa, a leading livestock handling equipment manufacturer, iLivestock delivers a fully integrated weighing and data capture and management platform. Their unique subscription also helps ensure the platform is within reach of entry level and small farms, as well as larger enterprises, delivering the latest tech at an affordable level. And it’s not just about the software and hardware, farmers need confidence that it will work.
Ewen again, “We understand how frustrating it is when technology stops working or breaks, which is why we also provide no-quibble replacements and repairs to avoid any dips in efficiency.
“This gives farmers complete peace of mind they’ll be able to use the technology they’re investing in, to its full potential.”
